fatsoh I think you'll find that Abbott's personal popularity is now higher than Gillard's.

Historically it has been very hard for most Opposition leaders to lead on the personal popularity stakes.

Their job is to oppose, so they are often cast as negative.

They also don't have the enormous resources available to them that a Prime Minister does.

The fact that Abbott has been able to;

Force the ALP to remove a first term sitting PM
Then almost force a first term government into an election loss
And currently sits in a very commanding lead in 2PP measure

Means that he has been a very, very effective Opposition leader.

The fact that you don't like him or the LNP side is clear, in the snide remarks you make even in your last post, but the facts are they are going to win in a landslide.

And it's all because of how hopeless Gillard and Swan are.

No use crying about the Murdoch media. The ALP have done this to themselves.

Get used to your team being in Opposition for a long while.
