I’ve read many of your posts this last year and you are one of a handful of profiles I have a high level of respect for. I don’t dispute your comment but closures were real.
Contained in this attached story NYT is a line that says it all.
”Fitfully and painfully — and with some worried prodding from Beijing — China is trying to reopen for business.”
Pressure is being brought to bear to reopen factories as China is seriously suffering economically. It’s only been a relatively short timeframe also.
The wheel could very well yet come off!
