Anyway, what we saw this morning was OSH was up almost 3% on opening and has given up most of that since. My general theory of why that happens. On days when an entity is expected to gap upwards- like when the POO has strong gain overnight- I reckon some punters who are committed to selling anyway- maximise the price they receive by staying out of the pre open- that has the effect of increasing the opening price- then they sell soon afterwards- that has the effect of causing the SP to fall somewhat below the opening price. All else being equal. BOQ did similar today. BPT has done it a few times recently.

OK, perhaps not a great theory but it is my theory. Thinking the punters are not over reacting to changes in the POO. Still waiting for my reentry price.
