Just thinking out loud but being generous for bullish, maybe the info was conveyed personally. In which case, he/she is not necessarily "misspeaking", it's just that it cannot be verified. I don't know either poster btw.
Such is life on an internet chat site - its hard to verify a lot of stuff. I guess anyone can ring the company to try and confirm the info.
