Yes, exactly - there are a lot of concerns about home testing, but perhaps this company could lead the way. It could be really important in countries where the healthcare systems aren't equipped to do enough testing in clinics etc. And in richer countries you would think there would be countless consumers ready to pay for quality home tests themselves (I know I would!) thus enabling a scale of testing way beyond anything that could be otherwise achieved.
To me, the main question mark here is antibody tests in general. The whole domain of covid testing is so complicated, fast-moving and hard to understand, and if antibody tests go out of fashion or are superseded by some new method, presumably that would hurt Atomo's prospects in the corona virus field. They still appear to be a good and worthwhile company, but the dramatic increases in share price are obviously dependent of the corona side of things.
