While a nice idea @invest, the problem is the test is only effective once you develop antibodies which to my understanding is typically 5-7 days after infection. So travellers will still have to complete 2 weeks in quarantine even if their test was negative as they may have been infected in the previous 5 days. The test is useful to find out what the population level of infection is, the test is useful right now in Australia but may not be that useful in Australia in 3 months time. It will remain useful for Europe/UK/US (if it get approval in the US) for many many months, if not longer, because those places let the genie out of the bottle.
