    • Victoria 'too far gone' to suppress second wave, senior government source said
    • Source said state does not have resources to quell virus through contact tracing
    • Said officials could now only make sure hospitals are equipped to treat patients
    • Victoria announced 723 COVID-19 cases and 13 additional deaths on Thursday
    • The figure far exceeds its previous single daily increase in coronavirus cases
    • Premier Daniel Andrews is extending mask wearing to whole state from Monday
    Story in the Daily Mail

Australia squandered it's fortunate position being among the last to be hit and being an island well away from the rest

Now the authorities and our illustrious leaders are totally at sea with obviously not a clue to stop the pain, deaths and suffering

They also don't have the brains to ask other countries for help or to take their advice

Isolation is isolation and there are individual isolation beds with negative pressure which protect everyone 100%

All the solutions are there and have already been used overseas but our lot still blunder around and people die, especially when you lock them all up in one confined space which shares the same infected air, like boats or aged care homes etc.

Watch the TV at any time and see people with little or no PPE attending to patients etc
    Disasters waiting to happen

IMHO if you have family in an aged care home get them out before it is too late

Please DYOR and keep safe, the only person to trust is you
