There are those who say Covid 19 is no worse than the flu.

    There is a difference.

Here in Victoria close to Melbourne
    (less than 100k)
A disaster has unfolded in 10 days.

    It is just so infectious.
    Major hospital shut a ward,
next day 3 more wards, operating theatres.

    40 staff positive.
    100 in isolation.

10k away at Langwarrin, evacuated nursing home
(patients had been moved to motels)
was used for spillover hospital patients awaiting tests.

Some nurses worked there a day
There was an incident and another 11 medical
staff off roster, cooling heels at home

The danger of covid is it is so infectious and
chops the troops we need to maintain
    our health system.

One senior nurse, a PPE in service instructor
    got it
    then her brother-in-law (no contact).

We are surrounded by aged care homes
Guards and barriers 24/7, no visitors.

Victoria down to about 200 new cases today and 13 deaths.
It is going to be a long haul.
The WHO dude said two years.
    Surely not.
