The XJO closed lower on Tuesday, where spread and volume remained about the same as the previous day, however trading was the mirror image of each day.  On Monday price pushed up and closed off the daily highs as supply was drawn out, and on Tuesday price pushed lower finding some demand off the daily lows.
So anyway, price pulled back soon after the open, probably in response to the supply drawn out on Monday, challenging any sellers to come out and join in.   Then later in the session the Index recovered some of the lost ground to close off the daily low which suggests that an element of support is still present.
