Then you would understand that the business groups support McGowan's proposal. My bolding.

Business groups react to mandateWA’s peak tourism body welcomed the new mandates.“The mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements announced today by the Premier provides clarity and a level playing field for businesses,” Tourism Council WA chief executive Evan Hall said. The new mandates also include the construction sector. Similar mandates in Victoria helped spark days of violent protests in Melbourne.Housing Industry Association WA executive director Cath Hart said the association had been expecting a mandate but would seek clarification on what parts of the industry it would impact.“We are seeking clarification on some elements, including whether the whole construction supply chain is in themandated ‘group two’ category, particularly given the interaction of fabricators, manufacturers, suppliers andinstallers with those in building, maintenance and construction,” she said.“We expect these matters will likely be resolved via the roundtable process and welcome the move by the government to take industry feedback in the development of the health directives through that process.”Australian Hotels Association WA chief executive Bradley Woods said the group was very satisfied with the announcement.“It’s succinct, it’s spelling out a clear pathway with a timeframe and it clearly shows the need and necessity for everyone to be vaccinated in order for us to deal with Delta when it comes into WA,” he said.Mr Woods said feedback from members was that most of the hospitality workforce were vaccinated anyway but the mandate would expedite the process.
