csl vaccine for h5n1

Great they have got this work BUT

Am I not getting something here. Wont the virus change shape if it really goes serious h to h. Why work on a vaccine for H5N1 when it will be different through recombination. The vaccine will only be any use in the hotspots to limit mutation and it nearly impossible to get it to these places but it can't stop it !!

Are they just perfecting the technique. I'm not afraid of H5N1 its its offshoot that could be deadly.
