My point would be related to punter resistance. Reduce the number of available shares by 80%, followed by some cracker announcements and it's a potential very big win/win. But, the clear caveat would be that there IS cracker news to be released. Otherwise, cosolidations for the purpose of just reducing numbers and making earning look better could be a huge trap.
