"There is currently considerable interest in the practice of “dividend washing”. This refers to the practice of investors being able to trade shares cum-dividend for a period after the ex-dividend date has passed, under special arrangements provided by the ASX."

    A couple of Qs
Is anyone aware of retail investors being able to buy cum-dividend stock - TLS in particular?
I assume the price would be the current price plus the dividend - does anyone have any data to show how these are priced?
For a SMSF it would allow an extra day or so to but with the franking credit. Are there any other, legal reasons to buy in this state (I understand that dividend washing is a big no with the ATO).

    Appreciate any views.
