I didn't know that.
So if over 60 you won't have to pay any tax on a pension
But if you do die, then whoever inherits the fund will be taxed at 15%

I also notice that if you pass on the fund to someone who is not a financial dependent the fund is taxed at 33% (but not sure on that)

so yea, your 100% right we already have a death tax

wonder if you can avoid the tax by giving the money in the super fund to your relative or the beneficiary before you die?
