    No-one can consistently predict where commodity prices are going to be.

    As some wit said, "predictions are difficult, especialy when they are about the future".

    All a resource company can do is try to be in the lowest cost quartile so, that there is a very good chance they will survive occasional periods of low price, and come out the other side strong, after thosw with weaker businesses fail and close up their mines and processing plants.

    Carrying large debt is playing with fire. Paying down debt is much higher priority than paying dividends at this stage of Lynas' life.
