    There isn’t a problem in sourcing sulphuric acid in WA. The only issue is that it will probably cost a little more than the BHP source. But at this stage, BHP has not made a decision on the future of its mining facility anyway. It may decide to continue mining at lower output, rather than suffer the cost of mothballing their mine. That is still to be decided. At this stage, Lynas doesn’t have an acid problem.
    As to the water issue, Lynas only uses grey water, not tap water. With its efficient recycling of that water, it has only needed to use a fraction of its water allowance. Even as C&L is ramped up, it’s probably unlikely to need water above its allowance.
