For those interested in our (our? or Malaysias..?) PDF progress:
At the end of March, all 'supplementary' areas (i.e. the lower area of the image) and Cell A (WLP storage) were completed. Cell A was lined January-March this year.
Imagery from 2 days ago illustrates that Cell B embankment/cell slope construction has commenced. In addition, and perhaps of most importance, emplacement of WLP into Cell A has commenced (you can see the dark WLP residue in the cell).
In effect, this means the PDF is already operational. As Cell B is finalised, we will fill Cell A (and so on with Cell C and D).
I suspect current WLP will fill A/B, and possibly some of C, leaving room for potential extension or continued C&L operations.
