Thanks RVR. Not that I think Lynas are not worth being in for long term but the transformation to EV I dont think will be as what its cracked up to be. AI and BRICS will changr the worlds dynamics, people are getting poorer, 2 and 3rd world countries will take many ,many many decades to be able to afford renewable energies and infastructure, if ever. In Australia we baulk at turning on the heating now and pensioners shiver. We shudder now with the power bills now and we still have an ICE parked in the driveway . In the 1930s America was the only country where average citizens had cars aplenty. Thats Thirty years after cars ICE cars came onto the market. It will take that long again for mainstream affordability of EV and this tells me that very few countries will manage the huge infastructure roll out. EVare behind the 8 ball here because when fuel stations opened, very quickly the car was refulled. EV not the case and this will stymie long distance travel. ICE vehicles IMO will be forced to stay well after 2035. There is poor resale value on EVs. Expensive to insure because when being crashed the cost of repairing and disassembling the floor pan structure is expensive. Cold countries are having battery life issues. And this month people are getting up to a 25% increase in electricity costs alone. Inflation, recession, etc. Sorry. Im old enough not to put my rose colored glasses on now. Whilst Rand D fore sure now is logrithmic in its discoveries and inventions, unaffordability of it will be too. We are relying on Lynas share price to do well on what demand there is now which we directly see by the RE spot prices alone. Lucky for us Lynas is a world leader and will always be around. Im cautious on what price. I have put my rose colored glasses into the reality bin. Renewables will not be a 2-3 or 10 year revolution. Lynas will just always be there now as with BHP, RIO, Fortescue etc. IMOthe dream of our share price skyrocketing beyond the average market is inconceivable. Hard times ahead, more RE players entering the market. China still showing dominance. GLTASH and IMO the price will retrace to 8aud after jjuly 1st.
