You present a well thought out argument Jay but if your argument is true about the renewable revolution and all its components, then all renewable inputs should also be effected. But that is not the case. Look at IGO, a significant lithium ore producer. Their SP is (excuse the pun) rock solid. The difference that I see is that Australia is a major world supplier of lithium, hence we can influence the market. The same is not true for REs. That I think is the fundamental difference.
