    My thought:
    1. Lynas only sell product to Japan, so Geely/China investment has no direct impact on Lynas sale, up or down. They do not use Lynas product and their import of RE/Mag from China does not impact Lynas sale (to Japan).
    2. Geely/China investment do increase their influence on Malaysia politics. That's what they hope for.
    3. I though China is running out of money? Their one-road-one-belt is going badly, and moving production to Malaysia is bad for China's already very bad unemployment? Of course they may not care!
    4. Anwar maybe playing a two-handed politics, welcoming China's "investment" hoping the money does come in, at the same time allowing Lynas to continue operate, producing product for export $$ and keeping Aus + Japan relationship. All good for Malaysia.
    5. Hope he can keep the corruption and the MPs in check under his reign.
    Time will tell.
