Thanks Mikaj. Given Amanda stated product was held back for better pricing ahead - annual seasonal thing strangely enough that the 4-5 months period often sees increased pricing AND also she stated Chinese second batch quota's would be of importance/relevance/guidance.
AsianMetals website 26/09 has those quota's in an article open to all.
**promotion blocked**.com ran an article appears referenced from Adamaeus titled "Myanmar shutdowns spark boost in Chinese rare earth production quota's for 2023" which also provides the figures Chinese govt released. basically another increase of 120,000t to 240,000t for the full year. Interestiing read though the article.
I have been following the Irrawaddy News online - plenty of articles there on the issues of what we were advised in other media was Myanmar RE mine shutdowns for inspections - which have not resumed yet - and appears some ways off given the militia's in the area of Shan state (and others in the North) which borders close to Southern China and is where the RE concentrate supply comes from are fighting hard against the Myanmar military Junta whom have been reinforced in numbers to try and open up border trade to China. Last time being covid when the Myanmar RE concentrate supply was cut off and RE prices rocketed. Appears Chinese 2x major gov controlled RE producers are better organized to increase production - yet we may still see improved pricing for a period as normal high demand season in play and cheap Myanmar concentrate disrupted.
Anyway interesting reading for anyone interested.
