I agree the price is being manipulated by Bejing. They have been doing it off and on for over a decade. The question I have for you is are you going to accept it as reality? Try to figure out their goals. Build it into your investment plans? Or are you going to keep posting it and complaining and because you think it is unfair ignore it in your plans? Fact is even if the % of world wide market was reduced from its current ~ 90% to 50% they could still do it. I cannot see how in the next decade they could be reduced to even 80 %. Even if Lynas increased its share from its current 8% to 16 % Which is way above the 2025 plans and MP went from its current <1% of Fully refined REO to 10 %. China will grow more than these two combined.
If Texas comes online in 2026 which is latest from AL, considering she could not even give a solid date in Q1 CC for ground breaking or an explanation what is causing the uncertainty I doubt that it will be . If Texas is fully into production in 2026 Lynas will still be <11% in 2027.
China wants to limit growth in the rest of the world! I said in June NdPrO would stay in a 450 RMB WV / KG to 550. It has not broken that range yet and is currently about 510~520 /Kg, and falling very slowly. Truth is it has broken it has broken it twice, it briefly fell below 450 RMB for a day or two. Yes they are manipulating, it is reality, so it should be in your investment plans. It is in mine and that is why I am not holding and will not even consider buying until this and a few other problems have news they may change.
