I have not read this article but in general there has been a lot of talk about recreating or replacing China REE industry. That will not happen anytime soon, nor does it need to happen. Serious industry players like Lynas know this. The focus is on creating a supply chain that reduces risk, whether geopolitical, logistical or other. Users will be more inclined to use RE if assured of reliable supply at reasonable pricing. That's where the likes of Lynas fit in and why Lynas has the potential to be extremely successful with its growth strategy. Lynas and MP materials will NOT be able to replace China's supply so it's not reasonable to think in those terms. Outside China supply (Lynas) has it's place in the scheme of things, lets not get carried away with ideas of world domination, not just yet anyway.
