I feel your pain Zorro. After holding various amounts for 13 years (topping out at 300,000 shares), I finally sold this past December. It was not easy. The fear of missing out on spectacular gains right after I sold made me want to stay. Yet there were too many broken promises, missed deadlines, complete screw-ups, etcetera to keep holding. I had completely lost faith in management. My investment in the company to that point did not matter. The answer to one question did: Is this the best place to invest my money? Of course, the answer was NO. There were other companies with large and growing profits (what a concept!), generous dividends, solid histories, and obvious catalysts to growth. I have done very well since buying these types of companies. With the drop in markets, I suspect we are again coming up to an excellent time to buy wonderful companies at good prices.
