DEP in Radiotheranostics and ADCs is potentially the most promising path forward for us now imo. A lot of energy being directed there and a lot of market interest...... and yet our
supposed partner (
Merck) went with Daiichi Sankyo for their ADCs and committed up to
$22 billion (
$5.5 billion upfront) for them after looking under the hood through an NDA and 2 separate research agreements at Starpharma's ADCs for 2+ years ?
Not sure how '
promising' that is ? One might also ask -
why do all the big pharma's that sign research agreements with Starpharma end up going elsewhere / walking away if the science is so good ?
Note:- The last upfront/milestone payment Starpharma received was from AstraZeneca for
$5 million years ago but hey they must really want this Starpharma science if they aren't even in the fold anymore / undertaking any preclinical studies now after the AZD0466 failure ?
