Looking at the Dep trials this timeline should be of interest

23/1/2014 - Dep Doc Ph1 commences
22/9/2017 - Dep Doc Ph2 commences

31/1/2018 - Dep Cab Ph1 commences
10/12/2019 Dep Cab Ph2 commences

8/8/2019 - Dep Irinotecan Ph1 commences
7/5/2020 - Dep Irinotecan Ph 2 commences

Apart from Dep Doc each phase has taken around 2 years which to me is an acceptable timeframe when comparing to the industry at large.

Dep Doc has been very long winded. Ph1 at 3.5 years was attributed to insufficient trial sites which were all here in Australia. This resulted in the shifting of sites for Ph2 to the UK where they anticipated (as stated by JF) that 2 years should see completion. Combination therapies were introduced looking for better outcomes. This raises the question were they not happy with the monotherapy result? My opinion is no and this is the cause of JF shifting the endpoint several times.

The introduction of the combination therapies has been responsible for the fact that the Ph2 arm has now been running 4.5 years.

The problem l have is not the above but rather the fact that JF has over the last couple of years has indicated completion dates several times and none being met without any comment. This smells of contempt towards shareholders.

I have given up on SPL7013 for the time being. It's crying out for big pharma to take the reins. Dep is what l'm waiting for like us all and the results will determine if l continue to hold or sell. Will we see some action within 3 months?
