The catholic crusades were not followers of the teaching of Christ- it was a political system- the very same type that crucified Christ. God values all people equally. Atheist seem to interpret the behaviour of the Roman church as that of followers of Christ. Christ taught to love your enemies, forgive any who sin against you. To call yourself a christian and then go about murdering people I would have thought that atheists had enough intelligence to see the difference but apparently they don't. The worst example of "just not getting it" is the likes of Hitchkins and Dawkins and then thet all just follow the retoric like leeming. this is not rocket science guys recognize the difference.
