"I don't know for certain how the universe works, but assuming that we were created by God, imagine for a moment that you were God and had done all of this work creating a vast universe and a complex ecosystem to support your masterpiece of creation, man."

What makes you think Man is the masterpiece of Creation ?

"How would you react if you saw all of these misguided humans cannibalizing each other, worshiping animals, lumps of rock, etc, and sacrificing each other to their fake gods, and when you send out your missionaries to try to help them get their facts straight about who created them and who they should be worshiping, they simply reject you, kill your missionaries and continue with their previous beliefs?"

Are you saying the North and South American Indians, Pacific Islanders, Australian Aborigines, Zulus, Asians etc etc to name a few, were all cannibals that worshiped animals and lumps of rock ?
Not so of course but even if they were, what gives Christians the right to come in and interfere with and destroy the culture of others.
I think you have been reading too much history written by missionaries and Christians trying to justify their heinous crimes against fellow humans.
I think also you make the assumption that your version of God is real and all the other's are fake.
    Based on what ?

"Would you still welcome them with open arms, or would you be a bit peeved?

Whether we like it or not, God has made it clear that He is a jealous God and is intolerant of those of us who worship other gods."

Since you raise it, I think the version of the Creator of the Universe that you depict above is a complete fabrication of unbalanced minds trying to influence and control gullible children. In the larger scheme, perhaps that is necessary .. I don't know.

"God is the boss and He made the rules and belief in Him has worked very well for me, so I'm not going to argue against Him, especially if it means I might become someone like Crom Valen! "

If it works for you and satisfies your deeper questions then no problem, your sweet. However ...

Crom's vehemency is not normal. He obviously has serious issues regarding religion but isn't able to disclose them here except indirectly through his manner of objecting.
Today he may have had a bad batch of cocaine or methamphetamine or ice or whatever .. who knows ?
He is not you and since it's unlikely you would end up like him, why not feel free to loosen your chains a little.
