Its more like $50 million.
The point being that if it was certain that BHP would be worth $15 tomorrow, it would be trading for $15 today.
Thats how markets work.
On the other hand you can wait forever waiting for BHP to fall $10 and next thing you know BHP has made $10 in profits per share in the space of 3 years.
Nothing stays the same.
Thats why the only people to have ever made money in this caper are those who buy the good sh1t and benefit from *owning* the company.
It also explains why traders always lose. Half the time they get things plain wrong and the rest of the time they p1ss money paying taxes to the Honourable the treasurer and helping keep brokers in the lifestyle they have become accustomed to.
