Nothing wrong with transparent shorting, but I would share the sentiment that I don't know where these particular shorts are coming from.
In the US markets, only select stocks can be shorted and you get access to an option chain that is transparent for everyone to see and equally participate in (whether buying short or long).
I don't see the option chain or anywhere this stock is getting shorted and that bothers me.
Similar thing happened to SVL where someone shorted the hell out of it and made it drop late last year.
This type of hidden shorting where the retail investor has no visibility or access should not be allowed.
Still think the shares will come back eventually, not a dead stock.
