Does the CEO has his eye on the ball ?

My previous post were censored as off topic on the bid offer thread and it was inferred by the admin that i post a new thread so here goes.

As the CEO / MD may be distracted sorting out other business affairs with companies he is a director /shareholder of  should he stand aside and let his 2nd in command run the company while he sorts out his affairs

This could possibly be why we have "Silence" from the company , Why doesn't the Chairman "clear the air" and assure shareholders if he remains in charge he has his eye on the ball (very hard when your fighting creditors) of if he does not that there is a plan where he can step aside and others steer the ship ?

And  a brief update on the company might be in order ?
