good point about the sat phones, however, it is a lot more sophisticated than psst psst. Guys on rig crews develop codes whereby if they were overheard it wouldn't mean anything to the person listening. For example, a guy might say to his wife ,....don't forget we are cracking a keg over at Cujo's house on Saturday.This would clearly mean we have hit oil so mortgage the house and buy up big.On the other hand , he might say......honey,I feel a bit bloated and I am burping like a hooter so lets stay home on Saturday.That clearly means we are holding too many shares, well is a duster , sell down half our shares.
Actually, when sensitive info is available but not yet released to the market, most companies do not allow the use of sat phones.BRU has been extremely good at keeping things under wraps.
