Was in Kiribati a few years back.
Glad to report it is still above sea level and the gross area of land is growing.
The Kiribati government however is petitioning the UN to send $millions in aid just in case the islands sink in the next thousand years. Seems to me the natives are keen to participate in the scam so they get loads of money from the criminally stupid..
