The move is an escalation of Tshisekedi’s continuing review of deals struck by his predecessor Joseph Kabila, which includes a $6bn “infrastructure-for-minerals” deal with Chinese investors.

BTW - I don´t think so as team of AVZ received requests in advance with regards to their application for ML which stated NF in the latest interview with Cantor which stressed a bit their timeline and I also think that these efforts to clean up the mining landscape in DRC will help them to get more serious investors and let people there take part in progress made.
