very sorry to hear that @ShibbyUp, sincere condolences...

Reminds me of my old man who passed away 4 years ago of stroke. He was on bed for 5 years after stroke, could not speak, could not move, could not eat/drink from the mouth, had to tube feed him thru tummy, mom did great 24/7 nursing job to look after him. I was working in Aus when he had the stroke attack, after a year i decided to quit my job and move back to home country to look after him but only got to spend 3 years with him before he passed away.

Family comes before everything, now i feel so glad that i decided to move back and stay with him in his last few years, no regrets.. love them every moment because they will not be around us forever..
