Dunning Kruger effect + short-term focus = those selling now believe they are smarter (than they/others are) by selling to avoid potential further PAPER pain without consideration of fundamentals. We can blame exogenous factors like market environment etc and yes, that can impact the price at any given moment but it does not impact value. And when price and value diverge opportunity is created. Most claim to understand this but few act like it. The few that do understand and have the EQ to act accordingly stand to gain massively over time. Markets have demonstrated this again and again, yet most investors f themselves by thinking they are smarter than they/others actually are.

Some proclaiming to be growth investors may willingly throw money at a guy standing next to a hole in the ground with zero revenue that's going to generate billions when the gold in said hole is brought to the ground...but atm there's still a question if there's actually gold and if there's ever going to be a business at all. Yet some of the same investors bail when a company is actually starting to rapidly ramp up revenues, increases its op margins, and delivers the type of growth these investors claim to chase?!?! Oh, the irony.

Multi-baggers in terms of fundamentally supported value as DT mentioned he is focused on building are not created overnight, unless the firm announces a cure for cancer or baldness (maybe add stupidity to that list). Valuations relative to growth and growing embedded value are increasingly substantially mispriced. Yup, as @ilikethestock summed it up perfectly 'it's retarded'. Question is are you able to take advantage of the opportunity presented or seemingly smarter than the market?!
