If the ECT Rep had some guarantee of this earnings potential, then people would be throwing their money at it, especially a bank. How is it the banks aren't "hip-and-shouldering" each other out of the way to get involved? Surely even one rich individual would love to double their money over a year in this great opportunity.
Obviously there's no guarantee, and if things were to go south (like every other enterprise the company as entered into share price wise) then the money goes up in smoke.
All just IMO.
