@chris; what has defined Qantas throughout history has been the expertise, loyalty and dedication of its front-line personnel.
When that A380 engine blew apart in 2010 and the plane's computer systems abandoned ship it was Qantas pilots who saved the plane and all of those board. World-wide everyeon was open-mouthed in awe at what they managed to do!

Boy what a change Alan Joyce has made to that reputation - from world best to the ordinary airline we now have today, that despite the $Billions of taxpayers' money the Coalition threw at Qantas to prop it up during the Covid Pandemic.
The manner in which Qantas treats its personnel and the travelling public describes a company which has lost it moral compass.
