I wouldn't denigrate someone for stepping outside of their own bubble to seek other views.

I'm not suggesting all analysts are great and get it right all the time, but I would say it isn't a bad idea to canvass a range of analysts to see how your own analysis compares with theirs. Some of them might not be so useful to you, but sometimes you might find that someone else has picked up on something you missed.

You don't have to agree with everything they've written to learn something useful.... they also don't need to be right about anything at all for you to learn something useful either.
