Starpharma and Enhertu are both involved in the development of HER2-targeted drugs to treat cancer:

• Starpharma's HER2-targeted DEP® SN-38 ADC
  A drug that was compared to Enhertu in a study using the SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cell line. The study found that the HER2-targeted DEP® SN-38 ADC was more effective than Enhertu at inhibiting tumor growth and increasing survival.
  
• Enhertu
  A prescription drug that targets HER2 proteins to kill cancer cells. It's used to treat adults with HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, or that can't be removed by surgery. Enhertu is administered intravenously in a hospital or clinic.
  
  Enhertu was developed through a global collaboration between AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo. Daiichi Sankyo manufactures and supplies Enhertu, while AstraZeneca is involved in the development and commercialization

n the first nine months of 2024, the combined sales of Enhertu by AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo Company Limited were $2,729 million. This is an increase from the first nine months of 2023, when the combined sales were $1,844 million.

Enhertu is an antibody-drug conjugate that AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo are developing. In April 2024, the FDA approved Enhertu for treating multiple HER2 positive solid tumors. AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo are also collecting new data to show the value of Enhertu for patients with brain cancer.
