These certainly are alluring figures but a key factor to remember is that of 400,000 patients diagnosed with dimentia there will still be a very large number that are able to communicate. As dimentia is a progressively degrading disease there will be patients that pass away as others are getting worse etc so the app may only be applicable to say 100,000 of these 400,000. That is a complete guess, I have no idea what the appropriate number would be. But even still, capturing a significant portion of these...say 100,000 patients in Aus and rolling out globally to increase the number by orders of magnitude the MC will still be tremendous.
Just important to remember that not all patients diagnosed will require the app in early stages of dimentia. Agree though that global roll out of this app and the baby app could easily easily surpass a billion dollar MC in time.
