Thanks Dasher and yes mum is doing well - she did get lymphedema as they had to remove some lymph nodes but she is progressing well with this and in reality you wouldnt of known she has had cancer if you saw her today. Also the alternative for not going through chemo, radiation and surgery would be a lot worse then getting lymphedema. One thing you and the family will know that even when you are given the all clear there is always going to be that dark cloud in your minds about it - however it gets less as each day/month/year passes and really we all dont know what is around the corner but i guess you think about it more once on the path.
