Interesting article obviously looking to explain the very high market cap of AUT.
I don't see the need for the brokers to do the comparison, I don't think it does AUT enough justice, it's game over for the AZZ acreage.
You could say it even looks a bit desperate to be comparing yourself to a company divesting its assets based on poor flows.
It would be more interesting for AUT investors to see how the company compares to other similarly high valued companies... that is if there is anyone else in the Eagle Ford valued at 30-40K an acre? If AUT is the only one, it could be a risky place to be for investors...
But it's probably a discussion that should be continued on the AUT thread.
So back to the main point, AZZ is selling its acreage, transactions are going at 10K per acre, the current market cap undervalues this, and we have 10 days to go. None of the research note you posted implies that AZZ won't get 10K an acre, in fact if you read it carefully it appears to re-enforce AZZ will get 10K per acre.
