it's all lies and illusions.
I estimate the big white elephant uses $ 1 miilion worth of diesel internally, and $ 1 million of diesel from off-site re-fueling, PER WEEK.
Do the maths over 10 years... it's circa $ 1 billion bucks of diesel and subsequent carbon emissions.
EVERYTHING being bought , built and installed is in-bedded energy and carbon emissions.
Consciously ignored and deliberately not quantified.
