Hasn't been fun watching the market capitulate over the last few weeks. At the beginning of February the All Ords was up over 15% this financial year, now it's given up a big chunk, still up, but now less than 7%. Spec stocks unfortunately always act like a leveraged version of the index - great when things are on the up.

Was interested to read in the AFR and the Australian some stories about Oyu Tolgai (ASX RIO_ Rio stands ground on Oyu Tolgoi tax take in Mongolia.pdf) - see link for storey. The screen shot below was the part that really had me paying attention. Commercial gas flowing proximate to a massive enterprise that needs a reliable power source for years. Better to reflect on that than the share price.
