Lets call it "modified", Brucey. Do you doubt that reverse engineering wont be necessary? They would have had the "master plans" for ages.

Mate, by the time we get those planes, even Indonesia will have aircraft superior to ours.... if they buy the Russian Sukhoi 35, which is available to all. And they actually work. Russia has now tested them in Syria, under combat conditions. Havent heard of crashes or oxygen probs, lol.
Another thing about the F35 that I have not seen discussed..... maintenance.
How much downtime and how many maintenance man-hours will be needed to guarantee ONE hour of flight time. Some existing military aircraft need a lot. I think the F35 will be highly maintenance intensive. Do you doubt?
