I saw that two... one guess at why (and it is just a guess) is that a seller was trying to 'force' the high bidder into a position where they felt that had to up their bid to complete their buy..
ie now that 1 share had been taken out of the buy order the buyer was up for brokerage so nearing the end of the day they might bump their bid up in order to not pay brokerage on just one share....
Another possibilty is that an earleir seller had mis-calculated and left themselves with one share...
