I would say that test wall they show during the interview with a conventional brick wall in front, would be an example of cladding options. I know it defeats the purpose of having a brick robot on site but if they layed that wall with a cavity in between the 2 leaves and tied them together that would greatly improve the thermal performance of the home and greatly reduce the concerns that builder's have re cavities in regards to moisture ingress through bridging condensation and so forth, that way it could be successful. But would increase the cost of the build considerably.

This could be on the cards, considering they did mention the talks with brickworks including them designing new bricks, which may help them with this issue.
