mms, how are your bees doing? Did you get to finish your extractions? Moved 2 nucs w supers into full boxes on the weekend and they seem to be loving their new homes. It was lovely to smell the waft of nectar from their fanning just before I went to bed last night. Just as well I had the good torch as a juvenile brown snake slid slowly away from underneath the boxes. I'm not sure if snakes look for dead bees or perhaps the chorusing frogs drew it's attention. The bees were very loud, perhaps a warning to the snake?
