Oh didn't make the conection
Well that pond is the second one, water volume wise about the same as first
This below is the pond I extended, it's to the left of the above pond. I had already build the surround and went to get the liner they sold me an off cut 2m longer than I required.
Was just going to use the excess liner for a water garden feeding into that pond but as I pondered how it was going to work ie pumps filters ect, ideas kept evolving
Then it came to me, use the excess liner to make the pond bigger and put a water garden between the two ponds
So will have a pump in that extended pond pump water into the first pond and mixes with water in that, a pump in that first pond pumps water through a filter with UV clarifier the water goes into the reservoir above the pond and comes out as a waterfall.
So that pond will always be fall and a over flow will feed into the water garden which will also have a constant level and over flow into that second pond.
I have now decided I will set up a float valve in the second pond as that is the one that the water level will drop, so float valve connect to reticulation system (Bore) so that pond will get topped up each time retic comes on
Now going on the size of my ponds, with hides for the marron I should be able to have 70-100 marron
